You can’t have failed to notice magners new TV commercials featuring the loveable beekeeper Eamonn and his rather fetching Bee beard – if you’ve felt envious of Eamonn’s rather impressive chin rug then hurrah! Magners have launched the very app for you

The free Bee Beard app, which is available on both iPhone and Android platforms allows users to overlay a virtual beard of bees on a picture of themselves in six different styles. We’ve tried out two of them below

It also gives users the chance to win a case of Magners Cider in the weekly draw, which runs until 2 October. It will run alongside a wider campaign including TV and online until the end of summer.

For every download of the app, Magners will make a donation to the British Beekeepers Association and the Federation of Irish Beekeepers, which will save 50 honey bees. so not only will you impress your friends with your new chin decoration but you’ll be helping a great cause too.

Consumers can also secure a donation by “liking” the Magners Facebook page and even have the opportunity to enter a draw to win a beekeeping scholarship
