Adidas Adizero f50 football boots – £200

The Adidas Adizero f50s are awesome – Fact! Dubbed the the world’s first football boots with a brain due to their in-built miCoach technology ,a speed sensor chip which enables both professional and amateur footballers to analyse their performance on the pitch including such information as personal speed, distance, number of sprints and work rate during a game. Not only can players analyse their own stats but they can compare themselves to their team mates, friends and even professional players, including Leo Messi, Gareth Bale and Ashley Young and by using the free Micoach app can build their own online profile with 3d Avatar which will store all their information and even recommend training to improve your game.

The Adidas MiCoach speed sensor fits into the sole of the boot and stores all your performance data. They also come with everything you need to upload your stats to your smartphone or computer, so that you can view and analyze your data before sharing the results on twitter, facebook or youtube.

As well as including all the MiCoach capabilities above, the Adidas f50 boots are one of the lightest boots in the world(weighing only 165 grams) and features SprintWeb technology, providing improved stability and support across the midfoot and a Traxion 2.0 stud formation for fantastic speed.

Philips Reaura Laser Skin Rejuvenation- £799

For those who love new developments in beauty technology we give you the Philips Reaura Laser Skin Rejuvanation the UK’s first laser for home use.

It reduces fine lines and wrinkles is great for general skin rejuvenation and evens out an uneven complexion by stimulating your skins own natural renewal process and encouraging the production of collagen.

At £800 it’s not cheap but is considerably more cost effective than a course of treatments with a medical professional or dermatologist, (which cost about £1300 per session) has less down time, (the redness will subside over night and can be concealed with make up) and can be done in the privacy of your own home  - it’s all incredibly safe and comes with a step by step DVD to guide you through the process, which is really simple and requires an application of gel to the skin to help the laser glide easily and safely as well as a 24 hour lock so you can’t overuse the laser – a great feature in our opinion!

It’s been developed with Fraxel, one of the biggest professional laser treatment brands, but uses a lower light intensity to make it safe for regular home use. It is designed to be used twice a week for eight weeks, and in an independent clinical trial 81% of users experienced a reduction in fine lines and 83% benefitted from a more even skin tone.

Fraxel laser technology stimulates the skin’s natural rejuvenation process with microscopic laser beams, which pass through the upper layers of skin to trigger the skin’s natural cell renewal process.

It’s not painful but rather uncomfortable whilst the laser is in contact with your skin – a bit like a small nettle sting – but this will quickly go by applying the after care cream to your skin.

We were only able to try out the Reaura once so that we could describe the sensation and ease of use, which admittedly isn’t enough to give a full analysis of results but we’ve heard great things and will definitely keep our eye out for more reports on this as we think it’s a fab idea.

Roberts Vintage Revival Cath Kidston DAB Radio – £200

This Roberts Revival DAB radio is a beautiful Valentine’s gift for the one you love. Covered in Cath Kidston’s ‘Provence’ oilcloth and gold hardware, the Revival is a retro style icon, whose design hasn’t changed since the 1950s. But although the design hasn’t changed, the gadgetry has – inside the vintage case is the latest DAB technology, bringing you a great choice of radio stations and 120 hours battery life. It mixes old school rotary tuning and volume controls with all the convenience of a modern device, including a stereo line in for iPod/MP3 playback and LCD display.
